I'm currently pursuing a biochemistry degree from the University of Michigan - Dearborn. I've tutored a number of different subjects since finishing high school, but I primarily tutored students in the sciences. I've also been a supplementary instructor for psychology and organic chemistry courses on campus. I enjoy tutoring to see the way that students think about subjects. I like to build on top of those to help students get to the point of full comprehension. I feel that when students truly understand something, they do not need to memorize it. I can guide students along and explain concepts while the students figure out problems on their own. This allows students to become confident in their abilities and develop independent learning skills. In my free time, I enjoy basketball and soccer.
